Excavator EKG-10

Characteristics

Excavator EKG-10 with a bucket capacity of 10 m3 is used for open-pit mining of minerals and overburden rocks and their developing and loading in transport facilities, dumping and loading operations in ore storage yards.

Besides the basic bucket capacity of 10 m3, on an excavator can be used changeable buckets capacity of 8, 12.5 and 16 m3.

To expand the application of certain works execution, several modifications have been created on the basis of excavator EKG-10:

Excavator EKG-10M with a broadened bucket capacity of 11.5 m3 and a better occupancy, designed to work in coal mines;

Excavator EKG-10Р with a bucket 8 m3 and increased lifting force up to 110 tons;

Excavator EKG-8УС with a bucket capacity of 8 m3 and extended work equipment (boom length of 16.5 m) for loading rocks to vehicles that are at ground level;

Excavator EKG-5У with bucket capacity of 5 m3 with an even more extended work equipment (boom length of 20.6 m) designed for passing working trenches, working off high ledges, loading rocks to vehicles placed on the overlying horizon.
